dBs Institute has been shortlisted in the Whatuni Student Choice Awards

We’re delighted to announce that dBs Institute has been shortlisted in the ‘Small or Specialist’ category of this year’s Whatuni Student Choice Awards.

Polling students from across our Bristol, Manchester and Plymouth campuses, a landslide number of second and third year undergraduate students submitted their reviews of dBs Institute as part of the annual Whatuni Student Choice Awards.

Judging their experience based on facilities, location, student support, campus look and feel, student life and student’s union, our students’ feedback was overwhelmingly positive highlighting their love for the tight-knit feel of our community, our industry experienced tutors and state-of-the-art facilities.

Reflecting on the shortlisting news, dBs’ Managing Director Hannah Phipps said,

“At dBs, being small means we know our students - not just their names, but how they learn, what motivates them, and the art and music they’re passionate about.

"Being a specialist means more than incredible studios (although yes, we definitely have those). It means being part of a close-knit community driven by a shared purpose and love for what we do. We support each other, get hyped about each other's projects, and learn something cool and interesting every day. Honestly, it's the best water-cooler chat going.

"This recognition is a huge credit to our brilliant staff and the students who make dBs such a unique and inspiring place to learn. Thank you to everyone who shared their experiences. It means a lot.”

The Whatuni Student Choice Awards ceremony will be held at The Brewery London on Wednesday 21st May, 2025 and the winners will be announced shortly thereafter.
