dBs Institute student LeSouf Le Jeune - aka REPEAT_OFFENDER - played at ADE in October. Here he reflects on his experience at the iconic festival and conference.

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is one of the most important dates in the calendar for electronic music lovers across Europe and the world. The conference and music festival is held annually in October and brings together the biggest artists and industry names in worldwide dance music.

With performances, seminars, speaking events and educational workshops over five days and nights across the Netherlands capital, ADE is the perfect forum for dBs Institute students to delve deeper into the world of electronic music.

LeSouf Le Jeune, a dBs Institute Manchester student who produces and DJs under the moniker REPEAT_OFFENDER, took that learning experience one step further and landed a gig at the iconic event!

“I was fortunate enough to be asked to play alongside some amazing artists at one of the many events that took place throughout the ADE week-long event,” says LeSouf, “I played an early set at the 50:HERTZ House & Techno Cafe on Rembrandt Square for Elevated Academy.

“As well as the DJing opportunity, I also registered for the ADE LAB workshop series that ran from the 16th to the 19th of October. The workshops, DJing and networking opportunities made the whole experience extremely rewarding and I will definitely be attending again next year.”

We can’t wait to see LeSouf playing at this icon of the electronic music industry next year!
