To celebrate autism acceptance month, dBs Institute is delighted to announce that we are hosting the very first Festival of Autistic Joy on 6th April at our incredible Manchester campus!
On April 6th 2024, dBs Manchester is hosting the very first Festival of Autistic Joy! At the event, there will be an incredible panel of some of the internet's best autistic creators, including Ellie Middleton, stalls from neurodivergent-owned businesses and plenty of time for attendees to mingle and make neurodivergent friends.
Everyone from the neurodivergent community, and allies alike are welcome - whether you're medically diagnosed, self-diagnosed, or in the process of discovering your neurodivergence.
The event organisers have put the following in place to ensure accessibility:
- A soundproof sensory room courtesy of Eventwell.
- Name badges with space for your pronouns
- Pin badges included with your ticket to say if you're a big hugs, no touch, or high five kind of person.
- Fidget toys for all attendees
- Masks available on entry
Tickets are now sold out for the event, but we can't wait to host what is set to be an incredible afternoon!
