dBs alumnus and highly-celebrated DJ/producer Manami Baba joins us to share some of the simple, yet effective secrets behind her ascension in the scene.
Becoming a professional DJ is undeniably one of the most common aspirations we see, not just at dBs Institute, but all across the world. Manami however discovered her passion for DJing through a society whilst at another university. That society would set her on a path, one that saw her study the Access to HE: DJ & Electronic Music Production diploma at our Bristol campus, before making her mark on the industry.
In the five years since graduating, Manami has been signed to Higher Ground, performed alongside BICEP and Orbital, start her own record label and so much more. With so many accolades in such a short space of time, we were delighted for her to share that story and her insights with our students… and now we get to share it with you!
