Bristol-based DJ and audio visual artist, Cheeba, recently delivered a fascinating guest talk at dBs Institute Bristol on how to fuse turntablism with visuals. through demonstrations of his own techniques, an insight into the equipment he uses and his top tips on building a solid mixtape.
Taking DJing and turntablism into new creative directions, Cheeba has produced some fantastic projects including video mixes, movie re-scores, adverts, documentaries and commissioned projects for the likes Led Zeppelin and Aardman, not to mention a list of eclectic, chart-topping mixtapes.
