DJ, producer, teacher and label owner Nomine recently joined us at dBs Institute Bristol for a fantastic masterclass and track breakdown of 'Beginners Mind', taken from The Fear EP.
From a young age Nomine was already touring as a DJ and operating a mail order service. After leaving school at 16, he spent years seeing the world from behind his decks, working across a range of avenues in the music industry. After a while though, Nomine returned to education to achieve his masters and started the next chapter of his life, culminating in the creation of his online learning platform Education & Bass.
For his masterclass, Nomine introduced our students to his track 'Beginners Mind', exploring the key themes and ideas behind its inception, followed by a deeper look into how each section was crafted and mixed as part of the bigger picture.
